Five months active after so many years away and inactive!

I was going through the SFI forum this morning and I came across this forum post by Paul Huijs (unedited). I hope it inspires you...read on!

Now here is my story,.. I hope it motivates some people to become (more) active or I hope that with this post some people stop worrying about those "inactive" PSAs and CSAs....I signed up for SFI about 8 years ago because like all I saw it was free and I could earn money 

 Heej, what more do I want right ? I read a bit about what I was supposed to do and it didn't take me long to figure out I need points.. So I got a SO for (back then it was IAHBE) 1500 VPs to make it ( and stay ) EA. I did that for about a month or 3 and then saw nothing happened 

 No money, No millions, No big houses and cars.. Just another thing that took some money from me.

After that I stopped NOT because of  but because I saw so many other opportunities online that I just went on to the next. The next 7 or 8 years I did ( almost ) anything that has to do with website creation and affiliate marketing. That was ok for the time being but it takes a LOT of work maintaining several websites. I wanted to work online to create some FREE time for my family and kids.. So about 6 months ago I ran in to an advertisement from SFI (again) and I got curious again. Everything I did those years ago in SFI was gone already so I contacted support and I was able to start all over again..

Now after being 5 months in  again I have a Genealogy that goes 4 levels deep already with 5174 souls in it. I am SO GLAD I started SFI again and that I decided to stay focused and LEARN what it is I should do now 

I used to own a Bar and when our kids were born I quit that.. But because of contracts I ended up with a lot of debt.. For 2 years our life was "hard" ( like most people nowadays) but since SFI  I got HOPE again.. SFI paid for my kids B-Day last month 

 SFI will make our X-mass a bit better this year and I can only imagine what SFI will do for my family in the future to come..

Still dreaming about earning an internet income?

My desire to have another income source apart from my present paid employment as a professional in Oil and Gas sector brought me to the point where i am now.

Friends ask me what my business is

This week alone, i had a lot of friends especially on Facebook and people i don't even know asking me about my business. You see, so many people have been burned badly in the past due to their involvement in one business or the other that they failed to know when the real opportunity presented itself.

It would be interesting to read the testimonials of our Gold and Platinum Team Leaders. Your three questions were thought provoking that made me want to reply to your questions, although I am neither a Gold nor a Platinum Team Leader.

1) What were you doing before or still doing before joining SFI? 
The year before I joined SFI, I was already being pushed at the edge of the cliff that I had to give up our offline business, which we nurtured for more than a decade with passion, dedication, and hard work.

2) The reason you joined SFI?
I heard that the biggest, most generous source of alternate income for many people is the internet. So, I thought of why not try my luck to make money online.

The story of my first venture to earn online started when I landed on SFI website last November 19, 2010. Although, SFI was the first business opportunity I joined online, yet, regretfully, it was the last one I put my effort into. I have lost the focus. I forgot all about SFI. I got side tracked with social networking sites designed for internet marketers and wandered off to participate in other programs until my plate was full and ended up a master of none.

3) What SFI has done for you since joining for yourself and or family?

The modern day slavery called JOB

Any job you take must be a temporary classroom on your way to your purpose else you are participating and re-enacting 18th century slave trade. One of the most pathetic situations in life is when you spend most of your life achieving the dream of others without achieving yours. You should endeavor to work where your dreams can be achieved because you are sent to work with people NOT for people. Always seek to make your employment a win-win scenario not a favor from your employer.

   

In hindsight, I have come to the conclusion that God does not want you to be employed but to be deployed – to grow the talent(s) that has been deposited inside of you. You have an assignment from God – what you are carrying is too important to be prostituted for a salary. Do not allow someone dictate your value by paying you salary. It is important you see salary for what it is – a stipend to make you comfortable during your study period.
